Physical Standards
For male candidates, the required height is 167.6 cm with a chest measurement of 80–85 cm. For female candidates, the minimum height is 152 cm (relaxable to 147 cm for SC/ST) and weight should be at least 45 kg. In the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), male candidates must run 4.8 km in 25 minutes, while female candidates are required to complete 2.4 km in 14 minutes.

Salary
Selected candidates will receive a salary in the range of ₹19,900 to ₹63,200 under Pay Level-2. In addition to the basic pay, various allowances and benefits will be provided as per government rules and regulations.

Selection Process
- Shortlisting for Main Examination: Based on normalized score of Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025 (PET-2025). Only candidates who have qualified PET-2025 with valid Score Card can apply. Candidates securing zero or negative marks in PET-2025 will not be shortlisted.
- Main Written Examination: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (Objective Type), 2 Hours duration.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Commission.
- Syllabus:
- Part-1 (85 Marks): History of India & Indian National Movement, Geography of India & World, Economic & Social Development of India, Indian Polity & Constitution, General Science & Technology, Environmental Ecology & Disaster Management, Current Events of National & International Importance, Data Interpretation, Important Legal Provisions & Policies related to Excise in Uttar Pradesh.
- Part-2 (15 Marks): Knowledge of concepts of Computer & Information Technology and contemporary technological development & innovation in this field.

- Male: Height 167.6 cm, Chest 80 cm (unexpanded) / 85 cm (expanded).
- Female: Height 152 cm (General), 147 cm (SC/ST), Weight 45 kg.
