Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released a new notification for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026. There are total 650 vacancies for the post of Assistant. All Eligible and interested applicants can apply online by visiting the official website of RBI.
The online application process has started from 16 February 2026 and last date is 08 March 2026. Applicants must be between 20 and 28 years of age to apply. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with at least 50% marks from a recognized university in India. Salary
Selected candidates will receive a Basic Pay of ₹29,000/- in the pay scale of ₹29,000 – ₹78,640. The initial monthly gross emoluments (excluding HRA) are approximately ₹58,514/-. In addition, employees are entitled to benefits such as 15% HRA, various perquisites, medical facilities, loan facilities, and other allowances as per rules.
- Basic Pay : Rs 29,000/- in the scale of Rs 29,000 – 78,640
- Initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (without HRA): approx. ₹58,514/-
- Additional benefits: HRA 15%, perquisites, medical facilities, loans, etc.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of 3 stages. First, candidates must qualify the Preliminary Examination. Those who clear it will appear for the Main Examination. Finally, shortlisted candidates must pass the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) to ensure required language skills for final selection.
